Diaries of Present Wartime is poetry, originally written in Arabic. Alkhalaf takes you into Syria, and reveals how it all started. The poet regrets the fate of his country and he mourns about what arose from it half of Syrians became refugees! He describes his vision of the path of Syria in the shadow of war.
The Syrian writer Khalaf Ali Alkhalaf (1969) is a known poetry writer in the Arab world. His works contain human language, written in an unorthodox style, often containing personifications where one would not expect it.
