To sum up this book it is tons of sex scenes interspersed with a little bit of story line. In the description it states no cliffhanger. If there isn't one it's the next best thing. You don't find out who's targeting the clubs. There is no conclusion to the story. There is no mention of a second book to address the unresolved issues. Reading gets a bit rough at times because of bad editing.
I love MC romances but this one just doesn't stack up.
I had to take a few days to be able to review this one properly.
It is no secret that I despise Cliffhangers. What I hate even more than that is when I am not warned that there's a cliffhanger or even worse the end of the book comes and I'm wondering "Wait, what just happened? The conflict that has been going on throughout the whole book wasn't resolved!"
I am not sure if this is going to be a series and the next book will clear up what was left unresolved or if it was truly just glossed over.
We have sisters, identical twins (why that is so important I am still unsure), each of whom falls in love with a higher up in separate MCs. The story follows more of Chloe and Gable story with the Skulls MC. So she's Ireland born but in Florida to get her Masters. Gable is enamored with her and after a one night stand they keep at it. As they get closer he brings her into his club as his old lady and she is mostly accepted into the "family".
While they're falling in love the conflict is happening in the background. Someone is messing with the MC, the mystery bad guys are hitting their clubs and bars and destroying property and hurting some of the brothers of the Skulls. This seems like an important detail...
So Chloe and Gable and falling in love, the Skulls are being messed with, AND the bad guys are also hitting the other local MC who Chloe's twin sister, Lauryn has been brought into as their Presidents (Zale Regne) old lady(or so I assume).
It just so happens that the Ravens are also being hit by these bad guys but in a much more violent way. The Ravens are into porn and one of their stars gets "cut up" outside of her home. No one seems to really care about this though.
The Ravens and the Skulls meet to discuss what they know and then all hell breaks loose. However, what is being focused on is the turmoil between Chloe and Gable (I won't even get started on what he does to her and yet she winds up forgiving him (HEA after all)).
So the book ends with these two crazy kids working it out but guess what?! We don't know who the bad guys are or why they did what they did!
If the story isn't going to be wrapped up in a nice little bow then please give a warning of a cliffhanger in the description and the readers can go into the story with that expectation.
I did love the story and characters but the lack of closure has really left a sour taste in my mouth.
If you are an extreme reader like me and have more books in your TBR pile than you will ever read in your lifetime, the last type of book you would pick up is one containing a cliffhanger. Broken is two clubs and two romances involving sisters. There is a HEA for the romance. Thank you for that. However, the other story behind the book is someone trying to cause a war between both clubs. The suspense builds up throughout the book and......nothing. So if you want to read a romance heavy on the sex, this is for you. If you want a book with an actual ending, skip it.

This was an amazing book! I couldn't put it down. Only negative is that it wasn't longer and I have to know what happens after the book! Great read would recommend to everyone!
I liked where the story was going...I was really into it as in couldn't put it down. Chloe and longarm are great together.. It see,ed to drag a bit..didn't like the ending thought it would end differently .. but overall a good read
This is a must read for anyone who enjoys graphic sex scenes. There is also graphic violence. The storyline is well thought and flows smoothly. The main characters are believable. Your caught and drug into their lives as they discover each other. I liked how you could see them growing and maturing as the story unfolds. The only thing I didn't like was being left in the dark about who the villains are after the book was advertised as a no cliffhanger read. I felt as if it needed a couple more chapters to wrap things up. Overall I highly recommend this book.
Great first book
This is my first read from this Author. Jenny Jax did a great job with this book. It's well written. I enjoyed it. The characters have great chemistry. Sexy and sweet. This is a great story. Thank you, Jenny Jax )
